something special, our people's passion for fashion is the inspiration
behind our uniquely stylish collections.
Our history
Principles was formed in 1984 to give professional women stylish,
quality clothes at affordable prices.
In October 2001, Principles was bought from Arcadia Group Plc to form
part of our new company Rubicon Retail Ltd, which also owns Warehouse.
We now have 70 Principles in high streets nationwide, as well as over
140 concessions in leading department stores. We also have plans to
open a further 4 stores and 4 concessions before Christmas 2003.
