Firstly, let me introduce myself!! My name is Tracey Hand and I am the owner of Budget Bumps.

I thought up the idea in 2000, remembering how difficult it has been finding affordable maternity wear during my pregnancy in 1999. I noticed that secondhand maternity wear was very difficult to find and decided to set up a website where expectant mums could find everything they needed, all under one "roof".

I work from home, as and when I can, while looking after my young son, Jake, born December 1999. My husband, Nik, is always on hand to help but I do the whole site myself!! Buying, photographing, cataloging, site building and selling. It's taken some getting used to but I'm in a routine now! If I seem slow or disorganised occasionally though , please forgive me! Expansion in March 2001 to accommodate online ordering and payments with credit and debit cards has seen Budget Bumps go from strength to strength.


I do hope that I can help you find something you like at a price that's right and remember to check back regularly as I am always getting in new stock and will try to get it on site as quickly as I can!
