The point of Auctionair™ is that for the risk of a small entry fee,
you might get a REAL BARGAIN.

YOUR BID IS NOT BINDING.
Unlike other auctions if you win the bidding, you DO NOT HAVE
TO GO THROUGH with your offer.

THERE ARE NO HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGES.
Unlike other auctions, there are no nasty hidden extra charges. We
do not add a buyer's commission, a seller's commission, VAT or any
other similar charges to your bid. You simply pay for the item to be
delivered to you.

WE PURCHASE THE ITEMS OURSELVES.
In practice, most of our Lots go for *substantially* below what they
are actually worth, (and often well below what they cost us too!).
There are thus many real bargains to be had (see Results).
The entry fee is therefore a contribution towards our operating
costs (media and promotion, design, sourcing, bid processing,
fulfilment, fixed costs etc.) and towards the expected losses we
might make on the proceeds from the winning bids.
Our calculation is that if enough people enter, we will cover our
costs and perhaps even make a profit! And if it goes really well, we
hope to able to invest in some even more amazing Lots next time!
