Bodas was conceived by Helena Boas and Donella Tarantelli in September 2000. Their concept was to create a new brand of high quality, everyday women's underwear in beautiful but practical fabrics. Bodas launched with the core Cotton Basics Range in June 2001, which introduced all the basic styles; a premium-quality cotton range of lingerie for women manufactured in Supima cotton from the US. The range has since evolved introducing new fabrics to the womens lingerie collection, and adding nightwear, swimwear and babywear to the core cotton collection.

Bodas believes that what women put next to their skin is essential to how they feel about themselves. So the best start of any day is underwear which makes them feel great.
